Judit Drobni

(1947 Ϯ 2020),

She was born on June 19,1947 in Budapest, the child of Herbert Knapecz and Anna Kristalóczy. Her maiden name is JuditKnapecz. Her early interest in technical things soon noticed parents as well. After she had graduated from primary school, she studied at the DonátBánki Engineering School, where she graduated in 1965 in a large class of boys. After that,for a few years she became an employee of the Aluminium Product Factorywith a long history that still works today.

She started to work for the Institute of Energy Management from 1972, where she worked as a mechanical technician in the refrigeration department. She drew with ink on a large drawing board, which she loved very much. Here she met her later husband, László Drobni first engineer. Meanwhile, she had two children, a girl and a boy. From 1995 she found her place in bond of QPLAN Cooling Technical Design & Services Co. Ltd., where she worked also after her retirement, until her death.

Her professional knowledge, experience and precision made her an example to follow for all her colleagues, her ageless, cheerful and familiar personality made her a beloved colleague of all of us, the “mother” of the company.

She was surrounded by a loving family, her five grandchildren were the most important to her. She died of a serious illness on March 16, 2020.

We have lost a dedicated, conscientious expert, a loyal colleague.
